Now that Shaun Tan's hot (you know: the animation of one of his books won an Oscar), it is time to invite you to read your article " Picture books: Who Are They for? ." not only because the English translation has it currado yours truly for art's sake, but because :
a) if they know their books The Lost Thing and The Red Tree, enjoy reading about his conception and what the author thinks about them.
b) if they do not know, look them up and running will be like to reunite with an old and dear friend.
and especially c) because the reflections of Mr. Tan on the album illustrated and their audience are very very close to what a consumer believes picture books adult compulsive like me (and if you are here reading this, are not far from fit the profile ...)
And I also take to warn that if they went to see "The Lost Thing" to Sitges have another chance on Saturday March 26 at the Alpha Channel Kosmopolis . Maybe I approached him again ...
